Day 17 of 24 Tips🎅
How to sell without being salesy.
This is a question that comes up a lot in our community.
First things first:
If you’re worried about being salesy, you’re not being salesy.
Second things second:
You’re the only one who sees 100% of your stuff.
Third things third:
People need to have at least 27 touches from you, in the online space, to buy from you.
Let’s do the math on that.
Say someone new comes into your world and you mention your offer (paid report, coaching package, reading, whatever) once per week on social media.
Realistically, you can expect it to take about 6 months for them to be ready to take action and make a purchase!!
Now… I’m gonna break down something else that should shock your pants off, ok?
The chances of that new audience member sticking around for 6 months to be ready to buy are pretty slim. Unless you’re providing killer value and he/she feels seen and heard, you just won’t hold them in limbo that long.
So let’s make that purchase journey more efficient for you and your ideal client.
Here’s your homework for today.
Understanding that your person needs you to touch in with them 27 times before moving towards purchasing from you, how often should you be talking about your offers?
Brainstorm how you can talk about your offer as the answer to their problems.
Jot down all of the juicy benefits your offer provides so that they’re hungry to buy.
And then sell the damn thing already!Â
